To create this look it was imperative that we harnessed the opportunity to showcase daytime weddings. Whether you are planning a large production with a guest count of 300 or a more intimate affair with less than 40 guests, a Tiny Luxe Wedding specialty, hosting your ceremony and reception in the daylight hours can be an exceptional treat. From floral details to real life citrus, the explosion of bold color in this wedding inspired shoot has melted away our winter blues. Much like how weddings held during the morning or afternoon can add a truly dynamic flow and zest to the party. I mean, who doesn't love brunch? We know Omaha is all about brunch, we have been to plenty of them!

Our Nebraskan couples are increasingly intrigued with breaking the mold and creating a unique, yet, personal space that shows off their vibrancy for life and how happy their love has made them. They feed off of the energy around them which needs to be invigorating, stimulating, and aesthetically fun! Enter, daytime weddings.

As a new company to the Omaha, Nebraska area, Tiny Luxe Weddings strives to understand what the modern bride and groom want. We see that wedding trends are shifting and changing. Couples are looking to create a truly unique experience for themselves and their guests. The typical Saturday night wedding has been done and over done. The concept for this production is day time is where it's at. This concept lies behind each of our wedding productions. The couples that hire us, do so knowing that we have discovered their vision before they have even come to realize it. This gives us the opportunity to allow our esteemed team of vendors to come together to create incredible visual pieces for each event just like they have done here. Styled, pre-planned weddings for real couples. The Midwest is a little bit slower to come to terms with newer trends that the rest of the United states which is why Kimberly’s refreshingly modern designs have been welcomed to feircly here. They are new, exciting and just what the modern Omaha couple has been looking for!

With such long Midwestern winters, we welcome spring with open arms and even a hint of a dramatic surprise every year. Delightful surprises, just like the birth of Spring every year in Nebraska, fill this shoot with life and make the love it represents even warmer and more inviting.

Another welcome surprise? The very day after our shoot, our models announce to us, both real couples, that neither of them had any professional pictures from their weddings - so they were both overjoyed at playing bride and groom again for the day. Tiny Luxe Weddings primary goal is that 'wow' factor experience every couple deserves and we were delighted to provide this for our models at the shoot. This is why, with every styled shoot possible we like to use real couples, NOT models and sprinkle in a surprise or two. It makes their reactions to the whole experience more genuine, plus we get to treat REAL, local Omaha couples to a fantastic date day!

Omaha Wedding Vendor Spotlight

Design & Styling - Tiny Luxe Weddings lead designer, Kimberly Persons, brought the dreamy spring details to life through texture, vibrancy and richness. The color palette encompassed shades of orange, mustard, mauve, and soft peach contrasted with the deep burgundy of blood orange. The design is complimented beautifully by mixing copper, pewter and gold elements throughout the table top displays, like the gorgeous chargers from Petals to Platinum floral arrangements, and stationary. The elegance and modern design is elevated by dip dyed fabrics, fresh cut citrus and elaborate butter cream floral detailing. There are two table top areas designed to compliment and play off each other perfectly. The lounge area for a casual, day time elopement vibe and a formal seated table framed by two fruit wood chiavari chairs from United Rent-All.

Photography - Katie Brown, of Velvet Sage Photography  and Tiny Luxe Weddings, captured the emotion, elements, feel and look with vibrant color, artistic angles and perfectly styled and structured lay flats. Her vision gave a heightened sense of realism to the shoot. This allowed the bold colors and structural detailing to shine and gave life to the expertly crafted elements of the day. While her images are not featured in the gallery I have posted, Emily Dukat Photography was an incredibly second shooter who has images in our magazine feature with Wedding Essentials Omaha.

Venue - The Skyview terrace at the Holland Center is flooded with natural light and provided the most amazing back drop to our sunshine and citrus themed shoot. With a beautiful view of downtown Omaha from their rooftop patio, its easy create a romantic atmosphere.

Catering - In house chef Diana from Guckenheimer showcased perfect luxury brunch meal complete with bite sized appetizers and savory day time flavors.

Floral - Loess Hills Floral created loose, spring inspired displays that captured the freshness through bright and interesting textures. Three bouquets were presented for use and 2 different but complimentary centerpiece displays. Use of orange ranunculas, pink cabbage roses, tulips, blue thistle, coral protea and fresh green italian ruscus captured the look.

Cake - Move over white wedding cakes! This textured buttercream dream features an abundance of flowers in complimentary colors on top with gorgeous water color detailing along the side. The art work of Tonya at Cake Creations is the perfect inspiration for a spring time brunch wedding.

Stationary - The splendid paper elements provided by Martin and Rose added elegance, modern geometric detail and spunk to this shoot. Invitations, menus, champagne glass place cards and so much more!

All of these looks compliment a daytime celebration in a way that an overly formal evening affair might not. Couples can play with fashion when planning a more casual brunch event.
